Can someone tell me where I can find REAL looking chrome colored touch up paint?
I bought an older Lincoln Town Car. The chrome has flaked off the interior gauges and the interior side window buttons. I have looked at spray can chrome and looked up several sites w/o any success. I didn’t know there were several colors of chrome. I’m wanting something easy to apply and cheap! I have looked at nail polishes (w/o any success), and I have called auto stores. I haven’t tried hobby model shops yet, but now I’m thinking of just scraping off the chrome finish off with my nails to make it look not so rugged. Anyone have any ideas on helping me with this dilemma? I take pride in having my things look neat, and tidy.
there is no “real” chrome paint available. only “mexi-chrome” which just looks like silver.
Scrape it all off and go with the shiny nail polish…..
