Car Insurances Lincoln
If you have full coverage Insurance and your car is stolen?

What happens? My mom had a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. It is completley paid off and she went out of town yesterday and her car was stolen from a motel parking lot. If the car is never found, how much does the insurance pay and how long does it usually take?
I also wanted to ask if the insurance would cover the value of her purse, debit card tht was used, and suitcase full of clothes?
Oh the police are already involved and the insurance agent is investigating and looking into it she’s just sitting uo the police station right now with a ton of questions so I told her i’d get on here and ask while she’s waiting.

Thanks in advance : )

They will pay fair market value of the vehicle (ask the insurance company to explain the process) and will most likely cover the luggage and contents, usually up to $200. The purse and debit card theft will need to be filed separately under her homeowners insurance.

Also, have her ask her insurance company if she is covered for rental reimbursement. If she isn’t they may still reimburse her up to $10 per day for the cost of a rental, depending on the state. Some states allow for a small amount of rental reimbursement in the event of a theft. She needs to have comprehensive coverage.
