taurus/ focus, which is a better buy?
i need to buy a car for under 5000 and for insurance reasons the focus and taurus seem the most viable options, i also refuse to buy any other car than a ford, mercury, Lincoln, Volvo, or Mazda,
which of the two is the most fun? they seem to perform the same from what I’ve read because the Taurus has a bigger engine, but it heavier, and the focus is less powerful and lighter?
also how much headroom does the focus have? I’m a tall guy and im worried about the comfort of it.
hows the upgrade ability? I plan on doing some work on it, mostly just looks and audio, but i wouldn’t mind it going fast either. I would probably choose the focus but i looked at this body kit for the Taurushttp://www.andysautosport.com/ford/2000_2004_taurus/exterior/body_kits/aas/andy00068448.html and i have fallen in love with it.
I’d just up and buy a mustang but insurance is killing that.
Focus definetly….it’s the best handling front wheel drive there is…had one for about 2 years and loved it plus it’s not as slow as you might think…the power is pretty decent and mine went to 200km/h on a weekly basis
Contruction wise is excelent..never had any problems with it…just regular mantenance and go go go…i loved it(sold it for a good price too)
