Convince parents to let me buy Mustang?
I currently have a 97 Lincoln Mark VIII, so I am more than used to the power, and rear wheel drive. I have had ii for 5 months and it is going to need about $600 in repairs, so I think I’m just going to sell it. Now to the convincing…
I am a good driver, no speeding tickets, no accidents, nothing. I AM PAYING FOR THIS MYSELF (just for those who were about to called me a spoiled brat, dont worry I’m not, I hate those kids). I want to learn how to drive a stick on the mustang, and I have already practiced on my friend’s mustang a few times. What would you reccomend to convince my parents to let me get a mustang.
PS: I can use my dad’s car for winter driving (jeep liberty) since he has a company car. Also, I understand the insurance will go up a little, but I already have a 2 door V8 with 280hp. I know that gas will go up in price, but that isn’t really a concern, I don’t drive much to feel the pain of $3+ a gallon (I already have to get premium for the Lincoln).
Insurance will go up more than a little a mustang is considered a sports car and is much higher on insurance than a Lincoln almost double and depending on your age maybe even more.
